Description
The MF-MFM series is designed to remove impurities and sludge from heating and air conditioning systems. This protects all components, such as boilers, heat exchangers, motorised valves, chillers and pumps, from damage and premature wear.
When installed immediately downstream of the return line from the heat emitters (e.g. radiators, radiant panels and fan coil units), the contaminated water is forced to circulate through the filter cartridges. These purify the water, which is then returned to the heat generator and all other components, leaving it perfectly clean and free of particles, scale and sludge that could cause damage.
The robust stainless steel cartridge structure is covered with a metal mesh, offering a choice of two filtration grades (250 µm or 80 µm), which allows the performance of the sludge separator to be calibrated for any system configuration.
The neodymium magnetic candle filters, which are coated in stainless steel as standard on MFM models and can be installed on MF models at a later date, are designed to trap ferrous particles, particularly in older systems. This extends the maintenance interval for replacing the filter cartridges.
They come with a deaerator and two pressure gauges (dirty/clean) as standard to monitor the degree of contamination and schedule cleaning operations.
They are optimally insulated with rigid polyurethane to minimise heat loss and prevent condensation in refrigeration systems and are externally clad in embossed aluminium sheet metal.
